NetWorks Group Names Michael Cross VP of Operations, Focus on Managed Security Services

ANN ARBOR, MI - March 10, 2021 - NetWorks Group, an Ethical Hacking and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), announced today that Michael Cross has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. In this role, Cross will be responsible for overseeing corporate operations and will lead the Managed Security Services Team.

Cross has over two decades of experience in information technology and operations, including 8 years as Chief Information Officer at Greenleaf Hospitality Group. Cross’s varied experience also includes technical and leadership roles in government, healthcare, manufacturing, and consulting industries. Cross holds a B.S. in Business Management.

The appointment of Cross follows a transitional year for NetWorks Group and its customers. In light of COVID-19, businesses have had to quickly adjust their technology strategy, including adoption of remote workforces and transition to cloud-based workloads. As a result, security challenges have grown and the threat landscape has shifted. As organizations look to “circle the wagons” and focus on their core business, NetWorks Group has seen the increased desire from its customers to partner with experts to address these critical security concerns. Interest in NetWorks Group’s Managed Security Services has exploded as organizations feel the pressure to reduce costs while improving security outcomes.
